The catholic youth organization (CYO) of St. Martin’s parish (AMANTEN) was founded in 1995 by crusader Obeng Christopher, the then chairman of the organization from Gyamase.
The aim of the organization is to become true friends of God and better citizens of our country and to help others to do the same.
The first initiation took place in 1998 with average members of(32).

Bible boxing, bible quiz, CYO handbook, pick and act, point the eye, catechism, church doctrine, etc.
Meeting begins at 7:30pm and ends at 8:30pm. The then meeting days were Tuesdays and Thursdays then Sundays after church.
Now the meeting days are Tuesdays and Fridays only with average members of 60, since we had our own  parish we have been able to maintain  this population and  five(5)  strong outstations.

Last Friday to Sunday of January - St. Johnbosco feast (parish level).
April - Diocesan Jamboree.
July - St. Maria Goretti feast Deanery level.
Organization of picnics and Christmas party every year when the parish has not organized one. The organization has been able to produce one priest two seminarians for the parish and many great people. It is our goal to do better by bringing up good leaders for the country and the church.
