The Youth of the Christian Mothers Association, known as the Christian Daughters and Sons (CDS) of St. Paul’s Catholic Cathedral Parish, on Sunday, 21st December 2025, paid a visit to the Frankmay New Life Foundation (Children’s Home) after the second Mass to share the Christmas message and donate items to the children.
The group arrived at the home with joyful Christmas songs and was warmly received by Mrs. Mary Wuntimah, who delivered the welcome address. An opening prayer was then led by Daughter Edith, who also served as the Mistress of the Ceremony.
A Christmas message was presented by Mother Beatrice, who expressed the joy of the CDS in celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with the children. She highlighted the meaning of the four Advent candles, explaining that they symbolize Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
During the interaction session, questions were raised concerning how the children are admitted into the home. Mrs. Mary Wuntimah explained that the children are brought in through the Department of Social Welfare, and she also addressed other questions from the gathering.
The visit featured a joint Christmas carol session with the children, followed by the presentation of donated items. Group photographs were taken to commemorate the event.
The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Daughter Mary, while the closing prayer was led by Mother Mary.
The visit reinforced the Christian call to generosity and compassion, especially during the Christmas season, in line with Hebrews 13:16, which encourages believers to do good and share with others.
